I think some people are missing the point, he was'nt just trying to show that tilt sensing controller technowledgy is old hat but also that it can work well with vibration, we all remember Sony's press release on this "the vibration feature that is currently available on DUALSHOCK and DUALSHOCK 2 controllers for PlayStation and PlayStation 2, will be removed from the new PS3 controller as vibration itself interferes with information detected by the sensor,", yet he is clearly useing a controller from 1999 that can clearly achieve this.

I don't think they ever said that their controller was the first to include motion sensing. Words like 'revolutionary' and 'ker-bestest' are just marketing words.
