Ok so hopefully I'm getting my first 360 today, and tbh I really am a bit clueless about them.

From what I've seen though, the headsets that come with them are absolutely terrible, and I want to use my PC one. Is this possible? And if so, what's the best way to go about it ?

Thanks

If you want a better headset google 'turtle beach'.

I used some for a couple weeks and found them far better than the norm.

** Doh didnt read the reply above very well. +1 for turtle beach.

Surprised at that actually, had my headset that came with my Xbox 2 years ago and have not had one problem with it. It's comfy, sound quality is fine and build quality has also been great.

Definitley not terrible, in my opinion.

My partner got me the TurtleBeach Ear Force X1 headset as part of my christmas and I have to say I am really impressed by it.

the wired 360 headsets have half decent audio quality but their build quality is not impressive! I've had to repair my headsets a few times now with broken wires etc.

The official wireless ones are good but the fact you can't use them while charging is a PITA!

My main problem is they are just so cheap and tacky. I'm so used to using my Icemat Siberia headset now that nothing else will do, and I also find it rather uncomfortable to wear the Xbox ones.

Thanks for the suggestions people, will look at alternate brands since it seems a whole lot simpler than adapters and such.
