"Proper" keyboards on laptop computers

Hello,
What I have noticed is that most laptops don't seem to have a standard layout for their keyboard. The Katana laptop I just got doesn't have the backslash/pipe next to the Z key but elsewhere for example.

I'm ready to replace another machine, but as someone well into their 50s who has been typing since age 14, old habits die hard and I'd really like to get a laptop with a "proper" layout so I can do my work without looking for a key.

Is there such a machine?

If you check a standard usb keyboard you'll see that there are different keys. This is the standard USB keyboard I have at home and at work

we've used these types for years and this is the layout I'd like to get on a laptop. But I've been looking for most of the afternoon and they're all the same, without the \ key easily accessible.

thanks.

Oh heck, yes I see that. I think what I'll do is just buy a regular laptop for streaming etc and when I need to do work I'll plug the usb keyboard in!
thanks for your help on this.
