I assume the OP means petrol with a 0% ethanol content.

I read somewhere recently that Esso SUL has 0% Ethanol but it was just internet ramblings so probably little truth in it.

I filled up with Esso 97 supreme which apparently has no ethanol content.

Will report how it runs but 99% guarantee I won't be able to notice the difference.

So its small two stroke engines which are troubled by ethanol? maybe an end to the hairdryers with wheels?

To be fair that refers to the E10 blend.

Uk fuel currently is e5.

Apart from material compatibility issues with some fuel systems, you literally get less bang for your buck with ethanol as it lowers the total energy content of the fuel.

You won't get a performance increase from ethanol free fuel just higher maximum mpg.
