Does anyone know of any method where by you can have a window tinted properly without silly film leaving white "rings" around the edge of the window? Is it possible an old window can be sprayed or dipped?

Those little rings where the film doesn't reach the edge are hardly noticable unless your within inches of the glass.

Apparently there's a way to avoid the white lines by applying a small amount of PVA glue around the edge whilst fitting the film. It's meant to look crap for a couple of days until it dries. You'l only get the white rings on glass which has the little dotted pattern around the edge. If you've got them on glass without the dots, then find a better fitter :D

No.

Dont think the smoked glass will get anywhere near the effect of tinted windows. Get it done properly and it shouldnt be obvious.

the guy who did mines did the tints all the way up and a ll tucked in the edges

but he did mention this new glue called moon raker

it just like any other tiniting but just takes one corner and comes strate off if you need it to be :D
