Thats a good idea, i think they have become complacent and need to be told that if there is no science there will be no seti.

I feel the same has happened to folding although to a lesser extent. None of these dc projects ever seem to do much at all, however at least with folding there is still some evidence that the reaserch is going to good use.

My scheduling is:
Einstein 30
Rosetta 30
LHC 30
SETI 10

And the reason SETI doesn't see much of my resources is because of the lack of feedback on progress and candidate signals.

I suspect nothing short of a large plunge in flops will have an effect though.
