Proposed build: RAM & CPU cooler still needed

I'd be grateful if anyone could help me choose the following:

1. 32GB of RAM - preferably 2 x 16GB (unless that's a bad idea) - that will work with the Asus Z170-A.
Will something like the Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHz be about the best I can do? Version 4.31 is on the QVL. I've seen reports that the Corsair 2x16GB 3200MHz kit doesn't work well with some of the Z170 motherboards.

2. A CPU cooler. It must be quiet and I'd prefer something not too heavy or extremely difficult to fit.
Might something like the Noctua NH-U14S be a good choice?

The machine won't be used for gaming and the processor won't be overclocked. The computer will be used for audio editing, recording and analysis (often for several hours a day), music notation, Microsoft Office, occasional video editing (Sony Vegas), DTP (Adobe InDesign), some programming, and I'll sometimes be running virtual machines. Most files will be stored on a separate server. I'd considered trying to build a completely silent computer but very quiet should do.

If the rest of the specification could be improved I'd be happy to receive any suggestions.
