Hi
At present I have an Alphacool Eisbaer LT360 A10 Socket LGA 1151 and thinking about upgrading to socket LGA 1700 (i7)
Would I have to change the fixing kit (CPU) and if so do you have the necessary fittings in stock?
Thanks

You may not need a new mounting kit. I have a Eisblock XPX and didn't need a mounting kit to go from 1151 to 1700. I checked with Alphacool first and they confirmed that one wasn't required. If you look at your mounting and you have space in the slot outside the mounting screw then there is a good chance that it will fit 1700.

Just for info, this forum is not the shop. At the top of the forum there is a customer services section where you can contact the shop. The rest of the forum is mainly ordinary people like you and me and shop staff rarely make a appearance.

Hi
Thanks for the info.
I think that you are correct, the latest Alphacool manual seems to show the 1151 and 1700 sockets in the same list.
