Proprietary Nvidia Linux Driver Contains Privilege Escalation Hole

Because we have our own RSS feeds. Linux isn't even my main OS and I was perfectly capable of making myself aware of this story long before you posted it. As I'm sure the majority of the rest of the Linux users who use this sub forum are capable of doing. Why not make a Linux news thread were anyone can post a link to whatever they don't wish to discuss so it's contained within a single thread and we don't end up with multiple threads of multiple cases of linking and running where the only responses are the need to point out that we don't need an RSS feed or that the point of making a topic is to discuss said topic.
 
Was all over slashdot a few days back. Nothing wrong with stating your considered opinion about a story and asking for the opinion of others - but a link and nothing else is just lazy. Wouldnt be the first time either.
 
Even if you don't have RSS feeds, if you're browsing this forum - you're prolly hitting /. el reg, engadget, and a myriad of other tech sites on a regular basis ;)
