protected mp3 files

Hi there,

A friend gave me an album with lectures on it, they are in mp3 format and when I try to play them I get a windows license required message.

How can I remove this?

The album is not commercial music or anything there are 4 mp3 files recorded from a lecturer

Please advise

Have you tried a different media player?

sure have, tried winamp, itunes, everything and same thing

any ideas would be appreciated

Have you tried foobar? Does your friend have the same issue? Try on another PC?

I'm kinda curious to see the error message as a screeny. Is it a Windows error or one generated by the player?

I didn't know the mp3 file structure could accomodate any form of DRM. Are you able to share one?
