As above, there's a leave sheet at work which needs to be viewible by staff but not editable - the workbook needs to be password protected so that only the managers can edit it.
I only seem to be able to protect individual sheets - is there a way of protecting the whole thing from being edited unless you have the password? I'm sure I've opened spreadsheets before that prompt me for a password but also give me the option to open as 'read only.'
Any ideas? We're using 2003.
