Protecting Files (Password) Help.

Do you know how these branded USB secure drives differ from a normal USB with an application with 'TruCrupt' on?

There's not really any difference accept the encryption is done in hardware. Some however have had bad implementations which were broken.
 
There are USB sticks that have buttons on them where you have to enter a pin to acces the files, if you enter thePIn wrong a certain number of times it will self destruct the data. i cant remember if OCuK sell them.

They're a gimmick really as any professional would just copy the data off the drive.
