Soo the situation at the moment.

Anti Virus : Nod32 (All is well)
Anti Spyware Program : Spybot Search and Destroy
Registry Cleaner : In-built in Crap Cleaner

This is what I have used for a while now so I was just wondering if there are any more newer programs that you could recommend to use or replace the above.

Chears,
Tom.

By the fact you have NOD32 I'm presuming you're willing to pay.

Get an all in one security solution e.g. Kaspersky internet security. It includes antivirus and has features that can replace Spybot.

Most security suites won't have a crap cleaner though. Keep ccleaner. It's very light.

Supposedly though, all in one solutions are less effective than stand-alone programs designed to do one specific thing if you no what I mean.

Oh, sorry I've misread what you asked, I thought you were looking for an "all - in -one"!

Keep all three of them. I love Ccleaner and when my Kaspersky subscription expires, I'll be going back to Spybot. ;)

I use CCleaner and haven't had any problems with it. It cleans un-needed registry files, offers an uninstaller to programs, and a useful startup applications enable/disable, so you can stop certain things starting on boot.

I've also heard "Revo" can be quite good for the similar job, but haven't needed to use it.
