Prototype 2 fix?

Anyone know how to get this game working? Just comes up .exe has stopped working as soon as I launch it. Tried removing keyboard and launching and disabling HID in DM like Google results suggest but it's still doing it.

Got anything like FRAPS or Rivatuner working in the background? Disable Steam overlay? Verify file integrity via Steam?

Need more information really. What OS you on? Resolution issue?

Did manage to get it working by plugging in my 360 controller.

Pretty amazing fix huh, totally reasonable.

Odd haha. Good to know though! As I'll no doubt get round to playing it at some point.

loved the prototype games! they handled big scale destruction and dozens of npcs on screen at once with ease.
