Pointing a gun in your own face / someone elses face is foolish even if it's not loaded - you never know!

My stepdad always taught me to keep guns pointing down - I remember my stepbrother aiming a gun at my stepdad (in jest, he doesn't harbour any ill feelings!) that he thought had the safety catch on (it didn't) and he came very close to shooting my stepdad - who promptly went ballistic and pushed him down the hill into the nettle bush!
