Proving a C2D > a A64 X2

He belongs to the category " Moron ". I mean seriously, how stubborn can one get when solid facts are there in front. Thick skinned.

All Titania's base are belong to us.

:D

Really would like him / her to post back though. Only to get swamped by the would be A-Team ;)

i dont know enough about new CPU's to post a good argument on that thread, but i know that C2D is better from reading anything on the net lol.

nicely done guys :p

I prefer AMD, im no kind of fanboy.

No fanboy/girl could be that blind surely ?

Intel at the moment are far better in every way.

End of.

Actually were all wrong....
There is something better than the Core2Duos.....

Core2Quadro ;)

thats apparantly really slow due to the small fsb, and because theres 4 core they get confused and slow each other down.....

nah, whether C2Q is better or not is irrelevant :p

C2D is still better than AMD's counterpart.

do have facts, check Speedfan for temps. Intels REQUIRE liquid cooling and even then are unstable from the heat. AMDs not Intels can be overclocked with air. And quit getting YOUR sources from people who melt AMDs by disabling motherboard safeguards (ie Toms hardware)
LOL, a intel unstable on stock speed and needs liquid cooling to work :D :D

What are mobo's safeguards  ?

same guy as above said:
AMD = better performance with less energy used and less heat produced + DOUBLE FSB speed + little ventilation required (built to overclock) = Better performance and stability (even when gaming)

Intel = "faster" (energy hog) (huge amount of heat produced) + HALF of AMD's FSB +more expensive chip that tends to overheat and requires massive ventilation (not built to overclock) = "Faster" gaming at the cost of high energy usage (if you consider 200 points on 3DMark06 for 300 dollars more) , high heat and less stability (In my opinion not worth it at all)

Why is he still repeating amd's use less power, they use a lot more as core 2 duo's  ...

Hmmmmm oh yea not 64 bit.......

lollollol rofl lmao
