I am looking to build 2 or 3 machines that will run Promox (unless anyone has better suggestions) and node them together. Want to run potentially 30 VM's (DHCP server, DNS Server, Web Server, Generic Workstations, etc.)
Ideally trying to make this build as cheap as possible, so I am going to ditch items I can get away without (case).
Budget, I am looking to spend about £300 per node, so £900 for the total 3 nodes. Realistic?
I have a rough idea of what hardware and components I think I am going to need, however, is anyone able to suggest what they think?
Need any more information let me know.
