To be precise:
Fully Assembled: £1,054
Kit (not assembled): £790
MK3 to MK4 upgrade kit: £568

I think the upgrade kit is good for anyone who already has MK3. It has most of the features of the XL.

Features added compared to MK3:

- new longer all metal nozzle (UK based E3D manufactures it!)
- quick swap on the nozzle
- planetary gear extruder
- larger filament gear
- load cell sensor on the nozzle
- 400(0.9 degree step) stepper motors. Double the MK3.
- fully automatic Z height, first layer calibration and auto bed levelling
- input shaping
- pressure advance
- full colour screen
- built in Ethernet and wifi
- 32bit board
- thicker Z axis rods
- sturdier frame
- usb port as well as SD slot for printing.

nozzle looks super like the revo tbh. I want the extruder though.

I'm not saying I'm going to buy one, as it's a lot of money, but I would

A year ago I’d have seriously considered this but since I bought the X1C I’ve become a fan of Core XY printers.
I've been looking at core XY conversions for my ender 5 (because I can't help but fiddle) but I've not seen anyone give a good reason to change?

Load cell is a nice development, most designs seem to go towards an optical switch so it'll be nice to see how this performs.

The thing that surprises me is the apparent speed with it still being a bed slinger. Prusa usually deliver on their statements so hopefully it'll be a great addition to lower tier premium options.

After 6 years of bedslingers Creality and Prusa I took the Bambu Route and my lord how good is it. I like Prusa but I think he knee jerked this release lots of things missing or half baked, even uncle Jesse sent his back. BUT being able to print things in hours rather than days is how things are now. My first layer is perfect and it just prints not one issue as of yet 2 months in. It’s deffo the way forwards core XY you can see all the vendors now rushing them out Creality ships august if ordered now. Qidi removed there’s as it needs work. And that thing that prints upside down no thanks I like gravity the other way for printing hehe
