PS/2 keyboard to USB

Hi All

A (hopefully) very quick question: my mother wants to connect a keyboard to her laptop so she can have the laptop sat on a riser on her desk to help stop some neck problems she has developed.

Now, all she has is ps2 keyboards, I'm pretty sure I've seen ps2 to usb adaptors, would one of these be fine to use or are there any complications I should be aware of?

BTW she is using windows XP

Yes, that should be fine.

However, unless it is a "specialist"(?) keyboard, it might be worth just buying a new USB one.

it's not anything special so you might be right, would probably cost about the same cost as an adapter...

Yeah, just order a generic USB one and that'll do fine. The less adapters the better.
