Ive had a look through the first 5 pages and havent seen any threads (which im taking as a premature sign!)
Im toying with picking this up for the children, possibly with eyepet, and then have it to be able to have a fiddle with for shooters and try out some demos of move stuff already on the PSN store..

Question is...
Is it worth it....?!
Anyone here have any experiences of it?
It decent motion tracking, simple to use? easy to set up? ive read a few reviews of the kit and all, but id rather hear from someone who has it and had it for a while??

Cheers!!

It's pretty good, but atm it lacks decent software (although this will change come Friday).

Sports Champion's is still the best game to show off how accurate it can be, but PSN games like Tumble/Echochrome are equally impressive.

Last night was the first time I have tried it on the KZ3 demo and after a bit of tweaking in game I will be using the Move over the controller come Friday.

Most games are fairly straight forward to set-up but KZ3 needs you to find your own preference.

I also have Tiger Woods 11 (poor), The Fight (good) & Dead Space Extraction (excellent). There my rating as to how well Move works not whether the games are any good etc..

We have a wii gathering dust im afraid!
Thats my thought around the move, id potentially get it for the kids and then steal it the odd time for shooters and the like!

Bought it. Played it. Liked it. Gathered dust. Sold it.

Just not enough games out there to warrant me keeping it. Worth buying to play around with as you might love the games that are currently out there but I just wasn't playing it after the initial first few weeks.

ahhh, im temped by k3, never got a shooty game on consol due to the controller but this is making me recosnider (and ive just purchased a move set)

My move doesn't work correctly I'm not to sure if it's the lighting in my room or faulty camera or something?

Is killzone 3 really good with move then I've heard a lot of people talking about it.

I had a quick go on KZ3 with the PSM and it will definitely take a bit of time to get to grips with. A few people I know have said its much better though.

We've got one of those PlayStation Sharp Shooters at work and it looks like it would be fun to play KZ3 with, definitely comfier than holding the motion controller up in one hand I've found.

I got it with the console, but other than Heavy Rain (that I haven't started playing yet since I have a lot of games to play at the moment), I don't have any games to play the PS Move with. I'm not a big fan of it, but I'm sure others do. Don't think there are many good games out for it atm.

I got one with the PS3 I bought over a month ago and only tried it out today with heavy rain.
Not all that impressed to be honest. It's Wii control system with HD graphics, a bit more lag on the controller and a stupid big distracting ball of light on the end like some evil alien manpart.
I was a bit miffed that the 'nunchuck' type thing for the other hand doesn't come with it so I have to use the PS3 controller which is a bit clumsy.
All in all - a bit pants.

Also thinking of getting the Move... it's either this or getting the Wii.. but the idea of having several consoles in an already limited space is a little off-putting.. decisions decisions!

Think my Move has justified its purchase, enjoyed the shoot and start the party from its release games. Sports champion demo shows it off quite well but havent bought it yet, Heavy Rain with Move was a different experience that i enjoyed. Just finished DSE and that works really well with the move and calibrates easily and there is no need to re-call in the game at all. Played the KZ3 MP and SP demo with move, after a bit of tweeking found using Move pretty easy and more fun than using the DS3. Well worth keeping hold of as more and more games are using this, and we have some more SCE games coming soon.

Same

After attempting to set up the PS3 Move tonight again, I managed to play some of Dead Space Extraction gotta say I'm impressed.

Ohhhh a very mixed bag indeed...

Hmm.... Seen sainsburys do this for apparently 40 squid, might have a wee wander over at lunch and see if it is... for 40 quid i think it might prove its worth, especially if i can pick up eyepet for about a fiver!

But hmm... long term it might go the same way as the wii in dust gathering stakes!

Have played:
Resident Evil 5 - not too bad, though could tell it was something of an afterthought.

Heavy Rain - Controls were decently integrated, but the game itself I just wasn't sure of.

Dead Space Extraction - Pretty fun, but having never played an on rail shooter before kep finding myself wanting to look around myself :)

High velocity bowling - rubbish.

Killzone 3 MP beta - Not bad, but am struggling to get to grips with Move and shooters.

MAG - same as KZ 3 MP beta.

I will keep persevering with it with regards to FPS games.

I was tempted to sell it at one point when it was gathering dust for a bit, but decided to keep it as I knew there would be the odd game that would be great to play with move.

It's the only motion controller out that I would consider feasible to play the likes of FPS games on. Maybe the Wii too, but not played on one for yonks.

But for simple fun, the Kinect looks like the best bet, though not sure I will ever get one.

The hardware itself is great, so responsive, much better than the wii, The only problem at the moment is that there is no software to go with it,

I'm keeping hold of mine as I'm sure the games will come with time

iv just recently bought it as i really like the tiger woods games, picked up tiger woods 11 off amazon for 11 quid lol, said it was used but arrived still sealed, got the move kit from there for 27 quid used too, was in great nick, extremely sensitive movements on tiger woods, played time crisis on it too which you can go online for a cod like gameplay shoot em up, overall id reccomend getting it, me an the missus love playin on the frisbee demo you get with it so much that im gona buy the sports champions game lol
