PS Vita error

My lads Vita wont connect to wifi anymore, It wont pick up any wifi signal and gives this error

NW-8915-3

Google throws a couple of english forum threads and those say the Wifi module is probably toast. I looked in the settings and there's no MAC adress listed so I'm guessing it has died.

The Vita is only 2 years old so where do I stand trying to get sony to fix it?

Since it's out of warranty, sony will ask money to send a replacement system (if the process for out of warranty PS3s is the same as it is for vitas) although you might want to go back to where it was purchased since you do have some rights under the sales of goods act for at least 6 years (if it is still the same).

I'll see if I can fish out the reciepts and it back to see what they say then.
