PS Vita Screen brightness

Does anyone else find the screen of their Vita (OLED) to be way too dark, even on full brightness?

I tried to remote play Never Alone at the weekend and it was just unplayable as the image was too dark to even see what to do.

I'm seriously considering swapping my OLED version for the LCD model.

The lcd isn't any brighter I've owned both in the last 2 weeks amd oled is better.

I don't have my brightness at full. I think it's around 60%. The volume however is almost always on full. Sometimes I will turn it down just slightly but not often.

I have the original Vita and the brightness is great, has it always been a little dark or just recently?

You sure yours isn't faulty?

Mine is fine. Psp/vita have always been terrible in direct sunlight. Where were you?

I have also never had a problem with the brightness. I think I even lowered it because it was too bright.

Mine is permently on max brightness as I generally play in reasonably bright light. I know what you mean though, compared to my phone (which I can read in bright sunlight with the brightness turned up) the Vita's screen isn't as bright.

Vita is defo old tech, so pleased Playstation TV can play persona 4 as i just couldn't play it on the vita, apart from the dull(by todays standards) screen, the whole layout is faffy, killzone mercenary on full screen with ps3 controller too! happy days.
