I want to connect a PS2 Dualshock controller to my PC, so I went over to the rainforest site, searched for "ps2-usb adapter" and got a bunchload of results. Has anyone here used any of those adapters and know that they're realiable, work with most games, and aren't a hassle to install? I'm not allowed to link, but if somebody could go there, type what I typed above, take a look at the search results, and tell me if you can reccomend any of the ones that come up, I'd appreciate it.

Before you say it, I KNOW THAT THERE'S BETTER GAMEPADS available out there for almost the same money, but suffice to say there's a reason why I need a Dualshock. Please don't post if you're gonna suggest an alternative gamepad. Already got loads, a Thrustmaster, a Logitech, and a 360 one in addition to the Dualshock, thank you.

Get the Superjoy dual pad converters - very reliable and don't need drivers for windows XP/Vista (unless you want rumble support).

Personally I don't think there are many better alternatives. 360 pad is really the only thing I would ever consider swapping mine for, shame about the d-pad.

Mine is branded with a competitors logo so I can't give you advice on any of those. I got mine from a site primarily about the playage of games and it works a treat, it is plug and play so no drivers. The only problem I've had so far is with Silent Hill 2, the game doesn't like a lot of PS2 adapters and unfortunately there are no drivers to fix the problem like some other adapters.

I've found nothing called "Superjoy" but I've found several with names like "Super Joybox 3/4/5" etc. Same thing?

Lyon85: Yup, it's the d-pad I want it for :)

On an unrelated subject, have they gotten the wireless 360 pads working on PCs yet? And if yes do you need Vista for them?

Pretty sure that's the one. They're often in triangle or rhombus shape.

Yup, got mine from here, works awesomely. I'm using Vista64, but I presume it'd work fine on XP :)

I bought the cheapest one I could find on ebay and it was fine.
Now I use the 360 controller after buying a wireless adapter, even better!
