Im guessing a lot of people out there use there PS2 pad for PC games. I have had the adapter for it for ages but never used it.
So yesterday I got the NFS:Carbon demo and thought it would be much better using the pad rather than the keyboard

Now the adapter is the sort you stick into the USB and then the PS2 pad goes into that, did'nt come with any drivers but windows picked it up fine and it shows as PSX pad in games but.......

No matter how I try to set the controls the car always pulls to the right, it's on a continous full right lock  I have tried using the pad in digital/analogue all to no avail. So does anyone else use a PS2 pad for driving games know how to stop this, driving me crazy

You dont really need drivers for this .Have you tried configuring it under control panel?

Yeah I just did the axis calibration in the control panel, did'nt know that was even there, hoping it will work now :D
Now NFS won't even start up, get some tiny image on a black screen as it's suppost to go into the race, Oh how I love EA games.

Oh well, despite the axis being centered in the control panel it still full right locks the cars in driving games. :o
PC gamers realy don't have it easy :(

Yeah always pulls to the right on the second pad if there is nothing plugged in, as I dont have another pad I just removed it from device manager, job done :D
Thanks for the advice.

Fun game, shame it runs like a dog on my system :( .
