You need a device (USB I think?) to transfer PS2 save game data from the your memory card to the PS3 HDD (internal memory card).

Don't really want to buy a bit of hardware I'll only use one time, though these things are fairly cheap.

Don't know if I can handle losing my data from the PS2/PS. Not that many games I want to keep but the ones I do care about I spent a lot of time on.

God of War, Shadow of the Collosus, Devil may cry 3, GTA*, FF*. Actually it's painful to think about.

Just wondered who else is thinking about this right now, whether you're bothering to transfer your data.

The only game saves I care about are those from great games. If the games are great enough I will enjoy playing them all the way through again, for that reason I am not buying one of those adapters.

Im gonna get one, dont really fancy starting FF12 and Bully again from scratch!!!

:)

The only one I was slightly bothered about was God of War but I just started over again last night as I wasn't really that far in anyway.

Great game :)

I imported one from Canada for £8. I've too many unfinished RPGs/sRPGs that I'm not prepared to start again as I'd lose over 500 hours play time in total.
