PS2 to PC

hey all, been browsing a bit about connecting ps2 to my pc monitor

think i've got the general idea of what i need to do but just before i go out and buy anything thought i'd come here and check first, basically thinking of buying this for my PC

with this installed, would it be as simple as just installing the card and plugging the ps2 into the red white yellow sockets (sorry forget the name)

thanks for the help, what are the disadvantages / advantages of using the S-video lead rather than the composite one??
