PS3 2 player co-op games?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any of the above games?

My pal and I have just done Resi 5 which was great, last night we tried Red Dead Redemption which was okay and Resi chronicles(the new one) neither were as good as Resi 5.

Kane and Lynch 2 we aren't going to bother with so I was really hoping if any of you can throw some recommendations my way?

EDIT: Sorry forgot to mention that we aren't interested in first person shooters.

Portal 2, Not really a shooter but still First person.

Or a racing game like motorstorm?

He's completed Portal 2 otherwise that would have been worth a blast. Not really into driving.

I'm completely out of ideas to be honest...

Dark Souls is an idea I had but the multi-player aspect seems far too complex.

I think CoD:WW is 2 player co op.

Was army of 2 cross platform? Cant remember if it was or not?

but if you can put up with it, zombies is fun for a while.

Army of 2 is a third person and on PS3 from what I can see, check that out.

Portal has specific co-op missions though. Did he do those?

I thought on this one, my mate isn't keen on it but I will do some more digging.

Ah that's a point... Is this game a good laugh in co-op? I haven't even played it one player but co-op sounds interesting.

Trine 2 and WH40k Kill Team will offer hours of multiplayer goodness, cheap as well.

I like the look of Trine 2 but with 3 chars and just 2 players I can't see how it would work. I've seen the unlimited option in multiply but not sure what it would be like. I've bought this game in anyway as it looks brilliant, shame he can't download the demo(1 player only) to test it out.

Seems childish but it can be hilarious! Especially all the custom levels and minigames online!

this, some of the levels are made with more adult content such as horror films (saw etc) to more racing or truly co op levels. LBP 2 is even better aswell.
plus its really fun with up to 4 people on the same tv, so you'd be able to recruit your mrs and/or kids/friends to game with you too.
