I recently got a PS3 - so far so good apart from one thing.

for the past 6 years i've had XBOX1 and X360 - and i hate the PS3 controller - i was never fan of it even with the PS2 (used to prefer the Dreamcast controller as the left analoge stick was more comfortable).

360 Controller to me is a lot more comfortable - but with the ps3 left stick is in the wrong place and my thumb aces after a while L & R trigger buttons my finders slip off them on racing games.

I've seen a few controllers for the PS3 that have the D-PAD and left stick swapped same shape as the p3 controller but bigger/longer hand grips, ive also seen some that are shaped like the 360 controller.

Has anyone got any recommendations on a good 360 styled/shaped controller for the PS3.

I've seen these on a few sites, only thing that worries me is the updates sony done to the ps3 firmware which disables some USB controllers etc.

Do MS make a official wired controller for the 360, ive only seen the wireless ones.

if these adapters work well, i might look into getting one, as i would be able to use a 360 controller.

Just been playing a mate who has always had a ps3 on dirt 2 online for about an hour my left thumb is acing from the ps3 thumbstick layout.

Even games like Call of Duty and BFBC2 - its not that i cant use the controller, it just feels uncomfortable on some games with the PS3 controller.

the ps3 controller in a 360 shell - ive seen a few people who have done this, would be good to try but looks like quite a job and expensive (as you would need to buy 2 spare controllers to chop up) its a shame one of the companies that would normaly do this kid of thing havet released a kit for doing this.

So far ive seen a few controllers.

The Power A one but i saw some reviews saying it wasnt as good as it was expected to be,

the Raven controller, never found this anywhere in the UK yet,

i found another one called the PS3 Shadow controller shaped the same as the ps3 but has the left stick and d-pad swapped around and bigger/longer grips
