I've a 360 and just recently got a PS3.

One problem is after years of using the XBOX 1 and X360 controller shape and layout etc.

I find the PS3 controller uneasy to use, i then to naturally hold the controller with my left thumb on the dpad rather than the analouge stick.

The 360 controller just feels more natural to me, are there any controllers for the PS3 that are shaped and layed out like the 360's

i did seach but got results of everything with ps3 and 360 in it.

I would make my own but there is no way i would have the electronic/soldering skills to do that.

There was a fantastic thread on here a while back, somebody on these forums made a 360 pad compatible with the PS3, and I personally thought it superior to Benjamin's one.

I bought a POWER A Pro Elite Wireless Controller last week, to be honest I wasn't expecting much but I hate the PS3 controller so much for racing games I had to give it a shot. To my surprise it's actually quite good, it's not a good as the 360 version in terms of build quality and the trigger buttons don't have as much move in them however the layout is just right and for the price its a good buy.

Pretty sure I read somewhere today that the new firmware will kill quite a lot of the 3rd party controllers.

Really, when is that out ? I'd be surpised if that was the case, as 3rd party controller could include wheels etc.. gonna have a few cheesed off people then

It's about time Sony made a decent controller then, of course there are people who like the PS3 pad but a very large majority don't so they should take the hint.

I was waiting for nyko raven to released too, but looking at the comments in this video changed my mind, so what the best to go for? i guess the best would be to buy XCM crossfire adapter and 360 controller.......any issues with the lag with this adapter? am posting the video not for review but for you guys to read the comments

if you have modern warfare 2, can you tell me if it has any problems like dead zones in the analog sticks?

@jpthehoe DO NOT BUY, I literally just used it to play a game of search and destroy and you have to push the analogs all the forward to move! What does this mean? You can only move at full speed! Theres no walking slowly or turning to aim slowly you have to move quick. The sensitivity is none existent, your either not moving or your moving full speed, im returning it now.

Don't know if this is allowed but u can get one of these from argos

£25, make sure you check the sticks tho as 1st one i got had a dodgy right stick but was exchanged for good one when i actually got round to checking the pad properly :)

I prefer the overall shape of the ps3 pad, but don't like the L1 R1 triggers, always found it hard to move my fingers from L2 & R2 onto them.

The 360 pad has far better sticks & analogue triggers for me, the dualshock sticks & their range of movement/tracking is meh.
