PS3 Album Art

Hi all,

I did a search and couldn't find anything obvious here....

I'm using my Dell XPS as a media server. I guess I have around 15GB of music on it. My PS3 sees the XPS as a Media Server, no problem. It streams music and movies and pictures just fine.

However, I'm missing my album art in Music. It's definatley there 'cos it's displayed within WMP, and the art syncs with my (external) MP3 player.

Is it the case that if you have a lot of music, the PS3 ditches the album art? Has anybody else experienced this?

I used to have the artwork, when I had a handful of tracks in my library. I'm really looking for a solution that allows me to stream (as I do for all my media) rather than direct loading onto the PS3 HDD. I like the idea of keeping everything on the XPS if possible.
