PS3 alternative to Fable?

Just remembered how much I enjoyed Fable on the Xbox but got rid of my Xbox a while ago after it packed up.

What would you recommend as a PS3 alternative?

I really liked some of the Final Fantasy Games and Fable.
I liked Red Dead Redemption but found it very tedious at times with all the riding and what seemed to be fairly repetitive stuff going on so give up on it.

Basically I want to get back into gaming, I find myself getting pretty bored with most games now. Maybe I'm just getting old!

Currently only own FIFA 13.

Is Skyrim good? Don't really want it to be anything like WOW.

I found that Kingdoms of Amalur was quite similar to Fable

Dragon Age Origins is quite good

Just picked it up for £20. Liking it so far, not really sure what's going on apart from a massive dragon attacking. Missed parts of the opening scene as someone was talking!

It did, but they fixed it.

Still waiting on DLC though.
