PS3 and portable HD

Ive formated my HD to fat32 and it recognizes fine but it says there is no files when there are 4 vob files that work fine when streaming from the PC.
Do the files have to be in a simular file layout as the psp or should they work fine in the route of the drive?

Press Triangle, to view the full file structure of the HDD. Alternatively, create the appropriate folders (/PS3/VIDEO or something like that).
