Ps3 and xbox in a pc tower for a project

How easy would this be to do?

Ive seen a few examples online and am thinking of doing it as a project for my college course as my workbased project isnt getting anywhere!

I have an oldish tower already, i guess the main issue is mounting the 2 mobo's and powering the thing

Any opinions welcome!

Remember seeing a Siamese Amiga 1200 with a 486 motherboard in the same tower case back in the 90’s, it was a novel idea and it worked giving you an Amiga and a PC all in one tower case (it was a full size tower case) sharing the same keyboard, mouse and screen using a custom made KVM.

So I guess this could be done, but you’d need to be quite good at modifying the case for the brackets, and coming up with suitable back plates for the ports etc…

Interesting project if you do go ahead with it.

Pretty sure someone had a 360 and PC going into the same case on here, a good few years ago.
Not sure if it was ever finished though... Would be worth trying to find the thread, sure it must still be on here as there was some decent pics.

Sounds good ill try and have a look for it!

Im just wondering if i could run both via a single conputer psu aswell, and rig l.e.ds to each system so the fans are green when the xbox is on, and blue for the ps3 as a nice finishing touch!

Fortunatly im training as a cnc/milling engineer so may be able to make bits at work!

Not really sure yet ha!

You can run both easily from a PC psu.
