PS3 Annoyances

I've got my PS3 hooked up to my AMP via Optical lead and to my TV using a HDMI cable.

However the HDMI cable is still sending Audio to the TV even though I have set to to the Optical cable, I am getting sound through both.

It's a little bit annoying having to keep turning my TV down when I want to play my PS3.

Anyone else experienced this?

Edit Rebooted system and it's working as it should now.

Have you selected what output you want on the PS3? There's an option to use different variations. In settings.

Yeah I had selected it to use the Optical and told it everything my AMP supported. It was outputting to both my AMP and the TV lol. It's fixed itself after a reboot.

Really enjoying it so car. There are a few bugs that near ironing out still. The DivX playback is quite good, although it does enlarge the picture and you probably lose around 5% of the image around the edges.
