Maybe because London is are having the Eurogamer Expo 2010 at Earls Courts and the games which are going to be at PlayStation Beta Room will be at Eurogamer also.

Well I just got my email to say I haven't been picked :(

Webiste has been updated and they have closed the application address, people will find out by 6pm on the 22nd July if they have been accepted.


I hope my email actually went through, I sent it off my phone. It was sitting in the sent folder so hopefully it did.

Didn't get my requested slot on Sunday 12am to 4pm, however they have added another session on Sunday from 6pm to 10pm which they will add me to the guest list for :)

I got my pass for Sunday for 12 til 4.

Got my confirmation and entry email for the new session they have added for 6pm to 10pm on the Sunday. Get in!

You do have to reply to that email by the way! It's not an automatic you didn't get in so we've added you to this. They ask if your available and to reply if you are so don't waste time!

The capacity for each session is about 200. Those of you who have been invited by GAME will be going on the Friday I think, which is not one of the community sessions.

Also, just to let you know that we've decided to open up another Beta Rooms session to accommodate the oodles of you who asked to attend. This isn't a chance for you to send new emails, it's only for those who have already applied. Confirmation emails are going out today, so keep your eyes on those inboxes!"

So there was only a total capacity of 400 to start with over the 2 sessions and now it's up to 600 with the additional session, that's not that many spaces considering how popular it would be!

Well the emails are quite specific that ID will be required if you don't look 16 and you'll need ID again for 18 games. Couple of people have asked on the official forums and been told, don't bother trying you won't get in if you aren't over 16.

Godammit, I don't check the consoles forum for a couple of days and I miss something epic like this. I'm assuming all the places are gone?

Only just checked my email and have 2 tickets for sunday :D. It makes a change for something like this to be near to me and on a day off rather than 9am in London
