PS3 Beta Event in Birmingham

I'm there Sunday 1st August 6pm - 10pm, as mentioned I'll be tweeting mainly (@GimpyMoose) but may pop the odd comment in here. I'll also have my camera with me but pics/vids won't be up until late Monday/Tuesday.

Latte, feel free to post the info on that forum. And if I have the option I'll do my best to ask those questions if I get a chance! Regarding flights, I'm driving over 300 miles to go to this! :p
 
As mentioned Me and m0nkee are going Sunday 12pm - 4pm. I won't be able to update as I will just end up raging at my phone and launching it one Sony's lovely TV's :D

Am following you on Twitter now Windle, will be interesting to read what you think about everything. I thought my drive was going to be a pain to. After looking at your location I don't envy yours one bit :P

Just got an email saying the Sunday night session has moved forward to 5pm till 8pm. Sweet, now I can park in the town centre at work :)

I spent last night playing motorstorm apocolypse in 3d which is a really weird feeling not too sure if I enjoy it, hopefully by the time I get into work theyl have the GT5 racing seats all set up so I can have a go :D

Ah nice, your doing the security yeah? GT5 racing seats will be nice, are they doing a full setup with Wheel, Gears and Pedals? If so do you know what kit they are using?

Yep they are using recaro seats with wheel pedals the lot, il find out what gear it is for you when i start tonight :)

Update on the forums from Muster Buster, the Sunday evening session is 5pm to 9pm and not 5pm to 8pm. They have also clarified the situation regarding filming/camers at the event:

Ok, so of my closest friends that really like video games, one guy has been "grounded" by his girlfriend, and the other is going back all the way to London to see his ex, "because she is sad".

FAIL - I need new friends!

I'm gonna try one more guy, and if he says he can't make it, then I'm taking ps3ud0 :p
