Ps3 bluray playback pausing now and then, why?

Watching dark knight and every now and then it freezes and skips a few seconds. Any reason for this? It's a new slim model too.

I have sort of the same thing on the 360, streamed HD movies on the network to my 360 sometimes skip, well jerk for a couple of seconds then resumes normally. Annoying if anything.

My original model did this right before the laser died, although the slims are meant to be a little more robust.

If you are streaming HD films over wi-fi you will find some high action parts skip as the wi-fi bandwidth isn't always high enough

Sorry, post notifications not working again! Problem is not remote. It was a genuine bluray I was using. I'll try another bluray and see if I get the same problem.
