i settled down last night to enjoy a game on cod4 and all i got in every other game is people flying around/ sniping me from the top of buildings:mad:

i hope IW patch this soon and dont let these idiots ruin a great game.

i play cod4 every day and this is the first time i have seen this hack and it looks very wide spread already, and a quick google gives instructions how to do it.
 
COD W@W was awful for bugs at the start. The amount of walls and rocks you could run through to drop below the map just meant some maps were a joke.
 
I doubt CoD4 will get any further refinements. They didn't even bother to patch in trophies or rumble. Will probably be all forgotten when MW2 arrives.
 
This has started to happen to be too, on every single map there are glitches where you can not kill the people, maybe time to start playing waw again.

I just checked a video out of this on youtube. They HAVE to fix this or the game is actually destroyed.

All you need to do is put a file from a memory stick onto your PS3. Then you can fly and travel through walls in game.
 
I went on the 360 version after a while of not playing. Got into a team tac game and my team member was doing this cheat called a "lag switch". Not sure what it was at the time but found out later. Anyway we still loose the game and i have a KD ratio of -2:3 yet they still accuse me of lag switching. After my response of not doing it they start making fun of my british accent and file a bad rep on my GT. :|
 
Crikey. I just looked up the lag switch on YouTube. People really go to that amount of trouble just to win at a game?

Clearly too pubescent to accept the fact that some one somewhere in the world is better at something than them. Surly you can't feel accomplished winning whilst cheating like that? How ghey.

I fired up cod4 on my ps3 this week for the first time in about 6 months and encountered this, I was shocked. This stuff is usually reserved for pc games.
