right, so in uni i have one ethernet port, but luckily my motherboard, ASUS maximus II Formula has dual LAN ports, so i wanted to connect the PS3 and net to the PC (Vista 64 bit, home premium) and share media and the internet connection.
the onyl way it works is if i bridge both connections, thats fine, but ont he PS3 it says UPnP not avialable, and therefore, the PC doesnt detect the PS3 for streaming stuff. WMP wont see the PS3 either
how can i fix this? if i dont bridge the connections, i cant share the net, and the PC wont pick up the PS3, itll say limited connectivity, and the PS3 cant seem to obtain an IP.
