Where's the cheapest place to buy a second hand ps3, I just want the console leads and 1 controller ? As I only want it to play one game

yeah game's not the cheapest place, i went into my local for a 2nd hand 360, online they are priced at £130 so figured maybe £10 extra in store where in fact it was £159, the funny thing is i had already had a shop about and found argos had a brand new one for only £164 or something like that so as a back-up i reserved one, so glad i did, i know you want a ps3 but my guess it will be the same situation..... how much were you looking to spend as overclockers have the 12Gb ps3 super slim for only £125 at the mo and if you need more space just drop in a std laptop drive into the HDD bay

obviously at auction is going to be the cheapest place, you could probably pick one up for less than £50

I went with the super slim + laptop hdd and its been great, I only tend to use it to play GT5 though.

I got the console for £120 just after christmas from the high street place with a name like a chemical element.

Got a 500gb hdd for £40.

£160 + ps plus subscription is terrific.

Not a chance! I've just been looking myself this weekend.

ebay pricing:

Faulty console: £60 - £80
Used slim: £90 - £100
Used super-slim: £100 - £130 (same price as you can buy them new!)

MM pricing:

£100 to £200

Please don't get people's hopes up when the reality is these consoles hold their value very well.
