PS3 controller in 360 controller case

So why do you use their software then? Surely if you feel so strongly about them dominating a market then you would not use them, strange behaviour really, use their products then complain that they dominate the market, bit backwards really.
You're saying that as if I have a choice or something... unfortunately I don't. But forget about that anyway... I don't like MS as a company, end of - I don't need to explain to you why.

Thats exactly my beef though they aint cleaner in the console sector, hense the charges for p2p services, failure rates and lack in product quality.
I think they have made mistakes in the console market for sure but a lot of it can be put down to their lack of experience in consumer electronics as a whole - IMO.

a bit pointless, the ps pad is fine. The layout is so simple and standard that i cant actually understand why people would have a problem with it

yes of course thats a given really.

my point is that the ps pad is just so basic that i would imagine its a very small minority that would have a problem with the ergonomics and button layout.

You'd be surprised!

The 360 pad is far more comfortable for me to use and I prefer the layout.

Neither pad is perfect, the 360 shoulder buttons are too easy to press by accident when using the triggers, the D-pad is really poor (but thankfully rarely needed) plus there's the expense of having to buy the battery seperately. The DS3 has the convex triggers and IMO they should switch the D-pad and right analogue stick since analogue is the primary control nowadays. The early sixaxis had the additional deadzone issues and cheap plastics.

I just about prefer the 360 pad due to the better triggers (being a racing game fan) and the size fits my hands better, but both are perfectly acceptable. The DS3 is far superior for fighting games.
