... and another one's gone and another one's gone and another one bites the dust

Well my 60gb ps3 just died, yellow light, followed by flashing red light.

now the decisions.. do I pay for the repair or sell this ps3 as faulty (without the hdd, dont want my data going anywhere) and buy a new one?

removing the hdd is more about stopping someone else fixing it and accessing the accounts on it, than saving the data tbh.
had a quick google, managed to find a local repairer who offers ylod repair for £40 and offers a 3 month warranty. think thats my best option for now.
