Hi all,

Not sure if this has been done before or if it'll stay open long as the console is still some time away but what games are people looking forward to?

Personally i'm looking forward to killzone and have been watching the E3 trailer again and i know it's rendered to spec but still look ace

Killzone won't look like that according to reports, also, the first game was appalling and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I am definitely looking forward to the usual Sony games, I just hope they come up with some new idea's. I would like another God of War type game.

Well I believe it will look similar because that was rendered to spec, not just a rendered screen. Though the proof in the pudding will be E3 this year.

HEADRAT - I could be tempted to get an import one, but will probably wait for the European launch which I reckon will be this time next year.

Another game i've found which looks good is I-8.

i dont think it will look that good, honestly the differnece between ps3 and 360 is smaller than people think.

Yeah killzone wont look that good, tbh i dont think it was that amazing anyways, looked a bit too cartoony for my liking. And i agree with Nokkon, the first one was probably the worst game i have ever played. The AI was like a first Gen game it was awaful. And it was even more repetative than Halo and Halo 2 (and that takes some doing)
Although they will get more practice getting it right with Killzone on the PSP which is coming.
MGS4 is the only one i am looking for, i pray that it is a launch title, although i know it wont be. Although i do fancy warhawk and the next DMC looks fantastic (and i have never played DMC lol) i will no doubt buy UT 2007 for the PS3 aswell as the PC, but wouldnt count on the xbox version. and bring on the ninja turtles woohooo
As for GT5 or vision GT or whatever they are calling it, wont be out before 2008 i dont think, i mean we are still waiting for GT mobile, almost 18 months after the JAP release of the PSP.
As for importing as soon as the date is announced i will order on Lik-Sang, took sony ages to get injunctions out to stop the sale, and even then at first it was only importing to the UK to sell, took a while to stop the people shipping them into the UK from an HK based etailer (and i think they will have a tougher time this time)

agree with everything in there, except warhawk, and mgs4 will porb have a special edition on 360, (if we are lucky)

Yeah read that article on another forum but to be honest i take it with a pinch of salt, nothing concrete to support their claims there has been far too much info banded about on the playstation and people playing on it.

im quite open to the whole xbox vs. ps3 arguement. For me what matters is the games and nothing more. In retrospect looking back on the xbox and ps2 the ps2 won it for me as they had a lot more eastern support which gave their catalogue of games a lot more variety.

Saying that the xbox has some eastern titles already and ms have said that it is one area they need to focus on, so who knows.

At the moment I think hte 360 is a great console, looks ok (not too in your face quite suttle) and the pad is decent and the hd support is excellent, really makes a difference to sd, but at the moment there isnt one game for it that interests me (apart from geometry wars) but this is usually the way with new consoles they usually have one massive launch title and thats it.

Be interesting to see how it all pans out and hopefully we'll get some really immersive games to enjoy.

(isnt it the big sony show this month? news perhaps about the ps3, surely its their main item what with blu-ray)

It is widely agreed by most industry workers that what was shown at E3 this year from sony was over stated to what in real tearms the PS3 will be able to do

The general consenus within the industry is that the PS3 and 360 are more closley matched then the sony camp would like and people waiting for somthing that will blow the 360 out of the water will be disapointed

I for one will enjoy both consoles i buy what is best at the time and am not loyal to any brand if they want my money simple be the best and right here right now its the 360 that my hard cash is going on

They've said it's what they'd like to achieve, and how they'd like the gameplay to be, but I doubt it'll look any better than any other generic Xbox 360 FPS game.
