If I was buying again I'd try and grab a mk1 now. After using them side by side the mk2 feels cheaper to me (the knobs). and yes it seems it will be £30 more. My friend imported one which is why I got to test them side by side. The revision seems to be mainly about cost saving as is usually the case.

Mk1 it is then if I can get one! The ETA has moved to the 12th now matching the official UK Astro site. I guess I'll worry about PS3 voice compatibility when I have one and I'd probably be better off with a Xonar U1 on the PC.
 
Anyone had a dispatch confirmation for their MixAmp? I'm going to be disappointed if I don't get it today after ordering at 9am yesterday. My credit card company didn't like the transaction either it triggered a fraud protection call because it's processed in the US. Best buy them from the other place now they've received their stock.

I went for the official site because it became clear the other place were getting their stock sent out next day on Monday from Astro UK. In theory that should have saved a day.
 
At the mo I'm using the FiiO E5 headphone amp neat little unit for those like me that cant afford an A40 for the time being. Will hope to get the A40 some day to make use of the optical and dolby headphone.

Its so worth it mate. Dolby headphone = pure ear sex of an audio nature.
 
haha well might be an xmas wish list (wow its only just been xmas i know) but having a 5 month old daughter and trying to sort life out around her means part time n last money to throw around for a bit ;)

God might have to go back to playing WoW coz wont be able to afford new games and that beast is just a cheap sub per month... *shiver*

but that leaves my PS3 n PsP collect dust hmm must hatch a devious plan.

I orderd on Friday night and still no dispatch - although I did have an email from the VC about another matter.

you must appreciate that they are 9 hours behind us.
 
The UK site has a UK warehouse and it states that orders before 12pm should be dispatched same day.

The other place are out of stock again so cancelling isn't an option now :mad:
