PS3 DS3 battery

Where can I buy another one online? Mine's ran out completely and I want to replace it instead of buying a new controller.

It is actually doable, Sony even has the instructions for it. I just need to buy the actual battery, preferably from a British supplier.

It might be easier/cheaper to buy a borked sixaxis off ebay and ransack it for parts.

open it up, look at the battery - type in make or serial number into google

I'm convinced that when Sony were slated at release for making the pads sealed, they said they would replace the batteries FOC, or heavily subsidised. Have you tried contacting Customer Services?

I believe so.

Have you rung Sony first though, I'd say that's deffo worth a go first.

I haven't tried that as I'm worried Sony will say no; it's an imported controller. I'll give it a shot.

Battery life would be rubbish though, the Sixaxis batteries won't have been designed with vibration in mind.

i think the ds3 uses an 1800mAh battery and the six axix uses a 1200mAh, dont quote me on that though
