PS3 exclusive gams 2008

i still think the Ps3 has the stronger well known lineup this year for exclusives. Not saying the 360 hasn't got anything worth while because it has ( so not time to ditch my 360 yet) but most are not on the same scale as what we will *hopefully* will be playing on the PS3 this year.

i deffo want these thats certain - good knows how i'm gonna afford it

Thats more than one game a week for the whole of 2008.
Dont pick northern rock they will not have enough money to buy all those games.

I am the opposite. A game that has only had very brief technology demos shown off and no real gameplay (also all the tech stuff was on very high end quad core Intel CPUs to my recollection).

I always serve judgement till I see in game play, rather than some glorified tech demo.

I liked Max Payne a lot, but so far all we have seen is showy graphics, and that alone does not make a great game.

On the PS3 side of things, I guess I will get:

Final fantasy XIII
Haze
KillZone 2
Little Big Planet
MGS4
MGS4 Online
Motorstorm
Resistance 2
Tekken 6
The Getaway 3

Assuming none of them look like stinkers closer to release date, don;t know much about the otehr franchises so way too early to see if I will get them (I am sure there will be more exclusives appear at some point as well to further confuse my buying decisions!)

The idea behind the story of Alan Wake is one of the most interesting in a long, long time. Max Payne 1 and 2 are 2 of my favourite 5 games of all time.
What we have seen looks incredible, but they are keeping a lot of things secret and that's probably better for the game.

This is one of my most anticipated games too, And I haven't looked too deeply into the game, as i want to have as much of it surprise me as possible
 
I remember when Alan Wake was first announced that it looked amazing, does seem a long time coming though, I just hope it doesn't turn into another Duke Nukem Forever. I will most likely get the PC version if there is one.

Got a feeling this is going to be a big disappointment this game, cant see it living up to what people are expecting of it.
 
My xbox is away for repair for the third time :( I am trying to decide wether to keep it when it comes back, or cut my losses and trade it towards a ps3. My most played games on the xbox were of course Halo, Fifa 08 and Cod 4 but towards the end of the life of my last one I had barley touched halo.
I am trying to justify spending the money on a ps3 system, but this list of games sure do help, and a arcade back xbox can always be picked up later if needed :D

Most if not all those games i will get for my PS3 this year if they come out, some i may rent though, i took out the FF games as i highly doubt we'll see them this yeay maybe early 2009 but heres hoping. One game you missed out is Wipeout HD and that looks like its gonna be great, maybe as its a PSN title like warhawk they didnt list it?
