I've had my 40gb PS3 for a couple of years now and all of a sudden last night the fan kicked in and sounded like a train was coming through the room!
I've read a few suggestions, hoovered it out (externally only), set a fan pointed at it to cool it down and tried propping it up to help the airflow and it still seems to kick in after 10-15 minutes of playing games!!
Any advice on how to fix/stop it??
