I bought a copy of NBA Live 09 a couple of days ago for the PS3 (it was new and cheap so I thought why not). Its worked fine the last couple of days. However this morning when I tried it it freezes at the same bit everytime. Like with all the EA Official sports games I've played from that time and onwards it has an 'arena mode' bit where when you start up the game you go to a muck around bit to practice (on fifa its a one on one with player and keeper). On Nba its two practice courts with all the players from your team you choose that you support the first time you go on it dunking balls, etc and you have your chosen player to muck around with. When it gets to this screen (have to go through this to get to main menu) it says loading and suddnely freezes after a few seconds before the thing has loaded everything to all you to go to main menu if you want, you can't do anything when frozen besides turn off console, eject the disc. I don't whether its because my chosen arena muck around player is a created one, or because theres too much to load, but it freezes at this point everytime. Anyone got any suggestions (on internet someone had same problem said they changed the copy and still it froze, still unresolved).
Any help/advice/suggestions much appreciated
