PS3 Freezing.. what to do?

hey guys,

I managed to blag a phat ps3 (80gig) from work in march this year. It's been sat at work for well over a year so no warranty.

It's been working fine with no issues at all until the other day when it froze while I was playing black ops online in the middle of a match. I had to get up and turn it off and then back on again to continue playing.

The next morning I fired it up for some more online action and it did it again!!

I've since played it for about 3 hours without at issue but I'm now starting to think that something more seriuos is starting to show it's self.

Should I be worried??

I can't afford to replace it and I can't do without it!!

Mine has been doing it on Black Ops too (120gb Slim). Some others also had this, unless it happens in other games too, don't worry.

Mine has also done this while online with black ops in the middle of a game i was hosting - think its sorted itself out now

arh, that's all good to hear. to be honest I haven't played anything else since 9th

we'll see what happens then, I'll just carry on as normal.

Has online game freezing the ps3 been common then?
