PS3 game compatibility with PS2

I will get a PS3 next month and plan to sell my PS2 but how is the PS2 game compatibility on the PS3, can all the games be played without problems?

Is there perhaps a website that lists possible problems with games?

Yeap there is (least for the US) i dunno if the PAL games will have any additional issues

Just fire in the name of the game and it will tell you any issues.
They should all work, just some have some bugs and glitches. They fixed aload at the last firmware update. I hope they will fix more in the march update too.

Guitar hero 1 and 2 don't work though

Thanks for the link, the games I have work fine including the soon to be released Final Fantasy XII so I can sell my PS2
